Another Season Comes To An End . . . 12/7/2004 11:50:36 PM
Another year has almost passed and with it another year of meeting hundreds of my readers who travel to Victoria to pick up my new book or drop by to tell me the words I so love to hear, "Robert, I loved your new book!" No better words could fill an author's ear.
With four books in the Lizzie Series and two in the Victoria Chronicles, there are no more books written in either of those series. However, no fear, there are still three unpublished books on my computer! Despite a busy Christmas season with seven craft shows and a teacher/librarian conference (Vancouver, BC) in the past eight weeks, I have been so pleased to finally return to my computer and begin to work on a new book. What is it? you wonder. Well, so many of my readers have asked for another Victoria book I have begun to research the next historical period beginning with the end of WW1. No anticipation please ... this book and research could take years to reach print due to my busy schedule, but at least it is begun. The only thing that will shorten this period is the success of national distribution which has already begun in the USA, but that will be the subject of another blog, another day.
