Yes, I'm writing again and in 7th heaven. I always know I miss getting down to the knitty gritty of a novel - only having time or energy to write bits n pieces, short stories and the like while the markets take my energy, but I'm on 3 months leave and my brain is racing :-)
Yes, by popular demand I am working on a 3rd Victoria Chronicles novel continuing the saga of Dan and Nancy. The first book, Bound by Loyalty, became a Canadian bestseller early last summer and Loyalty's Reward is 1/2 way there already. It's all very exciting and told me that I better get myself on the bandwagon and keep my fans happy.
You understand of course that with only 3 months of solid writing time in a year!!! this book is going to take a while, but no fear, once I get going (and the research is well in hand) the story line seems to drive itself.
I'm also waiting for my 2nd knee replacement surgery - a 2 year wait here in my neck of the woods of Canada. Joyce is getting both of hers done this year so we are going to be gimps for awhile. However, this may give me less time at the market and more time writing so I won't complain just yet (I do like meeting my fans and making money you know :-) )
