The virtual book tour has apparently become a staple of the modern publishing industry but the nature of such tours remained foreign to me until I accepted an invitation to participate in one from Grits.com Book Club founder Marlive Harris. I was as impressed as I was intrigued to see her host the A Love for All Times virtual book tour for LaConnie Jones-Taylor, the author of When a Man Loves a Woman and When I’m With You.

Seeing one online community––including The Peoples’ Lounge––after another respond to questions and issues addressed in the author’s work, I welcomed the opportunity to add my own voice to the virtual mix in the new forum discussion: For the Love of Power and Stability in Relationships on Creative Thinkers International at: http://creativethinkersintl.ning.com/forum/topic/show?id=1105089%3ATopic%3A39351 .

I’m not so naïve as to think one blog post is likely to resolve the age-old question of whether it’s actually the woman rather than the man who wears the pants in a relationship, but it’s fun to join in on the conversation in progress among contemporary authors and readers.
