The sudden chill
and the heat inside
how to keep silence?
she can feel my fever

I know nothing of seasons:
when the light goes off
blue shadows dance
feel dumb ache and
stale smell of vests

I hear the wind sour
once again viral
infections nudge August
bring in uncertainties
