We still remember it as though it happened yesterday, and it's hard to believe that five years have passed since the death of the WTC towers and 3,000+ people.
The most compelling images I saw that day were those of people leaping from the collapsing towers; it really upset me, and yet I found some measure of comfort in the notion that, just as many of those people chose how to live their lives, they also chose how to die.
It was within that spirit that I wrote "Flight to Eternity," knowing that many who died were saved, and therefore would only experience one death.
