Excitement Abounds! 11/18/2006 2:04:24 AM
This has been a very exciting week for me! first of all, I participated in an eBook Appreciation Day sponsored by The Storyboard (A Yahoo Group) on Thursday and I met lots of terrific readers. I gave away prizes and posted excerpts from my books. It was a lot of fun and was terrific to meet so many people who enjoy eBooks.
Then, earlier this fall I donated copies of my books to a Silent Auction for Ridgley Middle School. I also offered up for bid the dedication to my next book in the Marianthia series, of which Merari is the first book. I found out yesterday that the winning bid was placed by Joyce O'Dwyer and that the auction as a whole raised more than $15,000 for the school! I am so thrilled to have been a part of it! I'll be dedicating the book to Joyce's son, Michael O'Dwyer. So how cool is that!
Okay, I'm outlining the sequel, just about have the outline done and am ready to take keyboard in hand and sit down and type.
