Now that the excitement of the holidays is over, and a new year has begun, I can turn my focus back to more important things such as getting started actually writing my sequel to Merari. Of course, first I have to finish outlining it—but at least I've started putting things down on paper, which is a good thing. Professor Harold Hill's "Think Method" most definitely does NOT work when it comes to writing books!
I do have some appearances coming up—the next one being at G-Kon in Garland, Texas on January 26-28. I'll probably be sticking around the Texas area pretty closely for the next few months, although I'm looking at a signing tour in Arizona in the spring.
In the meantime, it's time to get the holiday decorations down and concentrate on getting my book finished. I have a dog snoring at my feet and various cats wandering into the room to check on me every once in a while. Live is good for me—and I hope it is for you too!
