I woke up this morning thinking of blogging. Actually, I've been thinking about it a lot, but have been resisting the urge to do it.

Why?

Because I fear that spewing my random ravings into the ozone will be a gigantic time suck, both for me and for you.

But I'm going to try it anyway (not the raving, the blogging). And you're my proving ground.

Entry #1: Ideas: How do we keep them?

For many years, I've been filling a file folder with scraps of paper with scrawled ideas for books, stories, plot devices, characters, character traits, dialogue bits, settings, you name it.

But there's a problem: they're all in one big jumble.

Here's the solution: file them in the computer where they're more accessible and more easily organized. Duh! You've probably been doing this for decades.

Now, if I would only DO it -- this damn blog keeps sucking up all my time.
