I had a terrific time at the Texas Pawnbrokers Association Conference on Saturday and sold 9 books! I also have met with some pawnprokers who have offered to give me a behind the scenes tour of their pawnshop AND let me sit behind the cash register to watch what goes on-- and she can help me hook up with the national group!
Not only that, but I started planning out the sequel-- I don't want to give too many details but I can tell you that it involves a Dead Safecracker! (The booth across from mine at the Con was a Safe company's booth!)
