Computers, Chats, Chapters and Auctions 12/6/2006 5:31:54 AM
My computer must hate me because I got zapped by a major virus this weekend that fried my email and a lot of other stuff besides. But I will overcome the computer! I AM smarter than it is--I think! :)
Despite my computer woes, I participated in an on-line chat last night at the December Author's Jamboree at Donna Hill Promtions. It's always fun to talk to readers and let them know about Budge and CJ and what all is going on with them. And something important IS going on with them because I have finished my first chapter of the next book in the series-- The Dead Detective Cracks a Safe!
The next book will contain a very special character-- I participated in the Ridgely Middle School Silent Auction and offered the opportunity to have a chanracter in my next book named after someone. The young lady who won is interested in forensics and so the forensic specialist in the mystery will be named after her.
Now I'd better go get ready on that second chapter! Cheers!
