Okay, I have to take a deep breath. If I don't get everything done that is on my list of things to do, the world will keep spinning. Breathe. Breathe.
I'm feeling just a little tense here. My creative energy is at an all time high, which means I've got ideas leaping out all over the place, but that old clock also runs much too fast. I've taken a part-time job because I need some money, but my list of things to do just keeps getting longer and longer and longer.
So what do you do when that happens? I tend to be the kind of person who takes on too much and then over extends myself. I'm trying to stop doing that but it's ingrained in me. All I really want to do is curl up with a good book, but Budge and CJ are calling and I have stuff to do for my website and I have to do something to earn money and… Okay. Slow down. Take it easy.
You know, learning how to relax can be one of the hardest things to do in life. Sometimes you just have to sit back and realize that everything you have to do will still be there tomorrow. I'm not very good at that. But I'm learning. Maybe by the time I turn 80, I'll have it down pat. But I've got a quintillion things to do before then so…. Gotta dash!
