PREHISTORIC WOMEN OF THE WEEK:
If the figurines found in an ancient European settlement are any guide, women have been dressing to impress for at least 7,500 years. Recent excavations at the site -- part of the Vinca culture which was Europe's biggest prehistoric civilization -- point to a metropolis with a great degree of sophistication and a taste for art and fashion,archaeologists say.

Immortalized in the ancient epic poem, the 6th century warrior Beowulf has come to the big screen this week. In his honor, in addition to a review on that movie trailer, are ten book video reviews with a Dark Age theme.
1. Beowulf

9. The Vixen Princess by Cornelia Amiri
