Went to the Telethon 9/3/2007 9:32:16 AM
Hi all,
I ended up going to the MDA Telethon I was not able to do the phones next time I will check into it earlier. So I really wanted to go I know the way I have been feeling lately I should of rested but I really wanted to go, we have to live cannot shut myself in the house all the time. So I went it was worth every minute of it. It took over 2 hours of waiting in line and I ended up having to ask for a chair to sit on they had some chairs while we were in line. Next time I will remember to bring my walker that has a seat on it. Once I got in, it was 8pm I got in line at 5:30pm and it took till 8pm for me to get in because they take only so many people at a time until there are more seats once I got in I stayed in except for going to the bathroom twice, and I got home at 8am LOL
They had great entertainment and all the stories of the kids was so sad I cried I always watch it on tv every year and cry like a baby, so it was different being there in person Jerry Luis was there.
I missed Tony Danza (Spelling) and the Law and order Chorister and Morisca(Spelling) they were on when we were in line but it was great to watch. Seeing the children broke my heart they had some of the families there in person.
I am tired but it was worth it I plan to go next year it will be here at the same hotel for 6 more years.
