I decided to chronicle some of the things that happen in my life showing that I am indeed a senior citizen, though my brain doesn't like the idea at all. On Easter we had a lovely dinner, including ham and my special ham sauce which is made with sour cream, a little bit of sauteed onion and a lot of muchrooms. My family won't eat ham without it. Two days later, I decided to have some leftover ham, quickly pulled the bowl of sauce out of the refrigerator and heated it in the microwave. My mouth was watering at the thoughts of it. I poured it over the ham and sat down to eat, and oh, it's so good if you have a nice roll to sop it up. I took the first bite, and it tasted really strange. I thought I was imagining things so I took another bite. Wait! where were the mushrooms? Oh, for crying out loud, I had heated up
the Ranch dressing. It's that old refusal to put on the glasses for everything now. It really irritates me.
