A case of mistaken identity A few weeks ago, I was driving to the grocery store, one not in my neighborhood and it was dusk. It's a long, windy road, but usually I do go over the speed limit because it's a smooth ride and not a lot of traffic.
On this particular evening, I saw in the rear view mirrow a Police van and fairly close behind it a police car. I immediately slowed down, paying careful attention to the speed limit and staying in the lines with my eye on the Police.
This went on for a very long, long fifteen minutes. It seemed an eternity.
All of a sudden, they sped up, pulled alongside me and passed me. It was a darn fire chief and a Domino's pizza delivery man.
Do you think I'm a danger on the road? This "getting older" business is getting me down.
