press release Sending out a press release tuesday for the book via a service I found on the den. I of course skipped the free version and opted instead to see how expensive I could make it. you can "outbid" the other press releases by offering increments of 40 dollars a hit over gold standard. I dropped out at 120 dollars for second place. Of course buying your way to the top of the list doesn't mean anyone is going to pick up on the news. I won't even know until tuesday if the press release will be accepted as written.
I believe I'm close to 500 dollars in promo costs that have so far netted me nothing much in return. I swore not to spend more than a grand in 6 months. At this rate I'll be under nearly 1500 in six. Who knows maybe one day I'll be sipping a martini and laughing about this.
