Battles we can choose to engage in each day. Or not.
8/8/2008 5:51:48 PM

Battles we can choose to engage in each day is something we really can control with our thinking process. Change thinking, and set yourself free from anger.

I was surfing through the chanels, and saw Joel Osteen. He was talking about, "Is it worth fighting that battle?" It was so interesting, and it was a great reminder when we can battle all day long if we let everything get to us. And it does when we have had it with all the other people being so nasty. Its a vicious cycle. Joel spoke on it so brilliantly, please listen to it.

Read this from Joel Osteen.

We all have battles we can choose to engage in each day. There are small petty battles and then there are battles that come across our path that can launch us into our God given destinies. The difference between the two is one type of battle will distract and drain you from the strength you’ll need for the real battle that’s important to fight.

Many people miss out on God’s best because they are distracted by battles that really don’t matter; trying to prove themselves to people, trying to be right all of the time, fighting about small insignificant matters with your spouse and children. Engaging in these battles do not do any good, rather they stir up dissension and cause strife which will rob you and the people around you of peace. The Bible says in Proverbs 20:3, “Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor.” We’re not supposed to be in fight mode all the time. When we learn the difference between which battles to fight, and learn to practice self control, we will have strength for when we really need to fight the battle that matters; the battle standing between you and your God given destiny. You’ll have enough strength and discernment, and you will find yourself blessed, ready and assured; ready for all that God has for you to be!

Please Go here and listen. It's like he knows what I'm going through. Every time I listen to him, it pertain exactly to my life. Could it be that everyone else is going through something similar? Maybe Jesus, does hear my prayers. https://www.joelosteen.com/Broadcast/StreamingVideo/Pages/GoBigVideo.aspx

If you have to join, join, they don't bother you. Pick, "Recognizing What Battles to Fight." It is really something.

Avoiding a fight is a mark of honor, the bible says.
Pick the battles worth fighting. Not fight all day long to be in fight mode. It leaves battle scares.
