Scary things are happening to us. 10/3/2008 3:39:32 PM
I said I was not going to come back to the den for some time but I got an email about something and here I am back reading so many negative things. I know that writers have a way about writing, as someone answered my last blog, but why can't writers be postitive and not so negative. I want to feel good when I write about anything so that is what I am going to do.
Today we are in the Fall of seasons. I saw a humming bird at my bird feeder today and thought I should take it down so the small bird could fly south for the winter. It is amazing to see such a small thing with so much energy.
I love to walk and hear the birds sing and watch the animals scurry through the woods. They are amazing creatures and we forget that they were made by God also. Watch them sometime and notice how they move their heads to hear things. They are wonderful creatures.
Tomorrow I am going out of town to a family wedding and it is a huge thing. Hopefully it will be a happy occassion in every sense of the word. It is great that my neice's daughter is getting married. Such joy in this family and as far as I know, a positive attitude toward marriage.
I don't like to keep sounding off on the negative side of Author's Den, but hey, wouldn't it be nice to read good things that are happening to people. I think so. I have never taken the courage to state my opinion here but everyone else does, so why not me. I love hearing good things about people and what they are accomplishing in their lives, don't you? Evidently a lot of people don't because all they write about is depressing and negative things in their lives or in their thoughts.
Think about good things and how happy they can make you. A good laugh or smile is always more enjoyable than a frown. Be good to yourself and be happy. That is what life is all about. We can't have everything we want but we can be thankful for what we do have. Most everyone on this Den should be thankful they have a computer to correspond with people. So, that is all for now.
