In this time of strife and stress which we live in,lot's of quotations and advice are being thrown around to help folks cope with it all.After making it through the Vietnam War,21+ years in the Army,4 years in Law Enforcement,and 3 years as a Firefighter.I have the following as my personal creed, for I am an American, I will not apologise for that! Nor will I apologise for being a Texan!I have shed blood for my country,willingly and with out hesitation or mental reservation.I am willing to do so again,should the need arise.
I am still an American Fighting Man,I still serve as a force for guarding our country and protecting our way of life.I am prepared to give my life in their defense. (This statement is modified from the US Military Code of Conduct.)
As descendant of the Norse People, I give you the following in my own words.
Do not live in fear,for fear is the mind killer.Do not be a victim! Fight! For fear profits a man or a woman nothing. The skein of our lives was woven long ago by the AllFather. You cannot hide from your fate,for it is set. Run! Hide in a hole if you will,you will not live a moment longer. And if you run you will only die tired.
