together to turn your world from sad to glad.
Can you believe we're at the end of the year already? For our family of artists 2008 was surely an eventful year of both endings and beginnings. My site has gained so many more new friends and artists. Just as nature is cyclical in its seasons, the ocean tides, and the stars around us, so is life. Endings bring with them beautiful beginnings. And its just as so with our seasons of writings. Over the past year we've all grown and learned from each other. I have been very busy and haven't commented as much as I would have liked. I wish you all the best. Please come visit my website, www.sculptingtheheart.com. I work on it 24/7 for your and my wellness. My website has been this last year blooming and blossoming and undergoing many new evolutions. I'm hosting many guest websites for your enjoyment including a New Year's Special to the left with history and music for song Olde Lang Sang. This year I hope to become hands' down a site where all writers can go to learn, laugh and be inspired to sculpt their own hearts for others as well.
I've found there was nothing like replacing my depression while keeping busy doing something I loved. I use my computer and the web as a vehicle for my ideas, much like a painter uses a canvas. Don't just look at the surface of my posts, dig in and study the many layers of what is offered here by many talented artists. You will notice that my "visual and virtual" layers consist of all that is pleasing to our inner child. My website is about growth, change and enlightenment and reinforces the power of life and how special it can be when we keep busy doing what it is we love. I love to gather all these artists together in one place. I don't want to place a lot of unnecessary advertisements on my site so I stand alone broke and bent sometimes in my plight to help others. Unfortunately, I am a senior and on a fixed income, times are hard right now and I am accepting small donations to help maintain my website for others. It is my hope, for one brief, breathless moment, the viewer will experience the feelings of awe and wonder, much like that of a small child while walking through my virtual mind. Luckily, no matter how old we are, our inner child wants to talk to us. Listen for his messages. They come in transformative qualities like smiles, goosebumps, laughter, awe, inspiration and the gentle breeze of angel wings that fly about us daily trying to point us in the direction of joy.
