Regarding the Los Angeles Times' report on Monday, September 5, 2005, entitled "Official Death Toll Starts to Mount:"
New Orleans had no evacuation plan for its indigent, elderly-infirmed citizens.
The Gulf States lacked effective hurricane preparedness programs.
The United States of America, under the Bush administration’s philosophy of compassionate conservatism, now drowns in its irrational policy of benign neglect.
Shame be upon us ALL.
