On the matter of 2006 Oscar awards disconnect...
Regarding the Los Angeles Times article of March 8, 2006 by Mr. Steve Lopez, entitled, "The Best Picture Misses the Big Picture":
All I haveto say is:
And the Oscar goes to Mr. Steve Lopez for BEST "Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences" CRITIC! He cuts to the heart of the industry's hypocrisy in one sentence: "CRASH felt like an artless, dated and manipulative morality tale on the evils of the sprawling metropolis, shot with a long lens from behind the bars of a gated seaside community."
Now, it is time to send in the exterminators to tent and fumigate "The Academy" for pimps.
