Excerpt from Chapter 1

Moving out to the country was enhancing for Jo as well as for Jenny, Matt and Megan.  The calmness of the air; stars visible at night; and only the sweet sounds of the breeze.  No city sounds or the traveling noise of traffic just the occasional pack of dogs surfacing down the road and circling the corner.

Excerpt from Chapter 6

It was three hours later, and, in a few minutes – the singer would be taking the stage.  Jo loved him.  His music had feelings of love and emotion.  The lights went dim.  There was silence and then all of us gathered around the stage.  The music surrounded the club.  Music had always been an inspiration to Jo and she often wondered what it would be like to love a musician.  The singer stood right at the edge.  Jo looked up and she practically could reach the singer and it took all her strength not to grab him.  As his movements swayed the stage, Jo stared at him in total amazement.  This was absolution!  She wanted “true love” and she wanted this love with a musician.  Jo went into a deep silence as she took it all in and felt the music spirit her soul.
