Excerpt from Chapter 6

The sadness of the quiet as the road would take him away.  And, Jo, still moving into the clubs cowering all of them, with her partner, Sandy, felt she missed Gary but deep down it was just the companionship.  The only thing she longed for were the weekends and the dancing.  She could not keep herself away from the clubs – the musicians – and the hope that someday she would find her love and her happiness – her fulfilling absolution; her musician. 

Excerpt from Chapter 8

There was an introduction to the Elvis show and when Jo looked up - she was amazed - there he stood with his slick hair in a ponytail - it was him – the one that she had been searching.  She could feel him all around her and his movements captured the microphone right and left; he had the love of music in every motion and it was tempting her all the way.  He had mesmerizing eyes as he made Elvis Presley to the tee - swaying back and forth.  He made the rise of her passion – the vision of love in her soul.
