through linking edits of my AD site
....as I have been ridding my old lulu links from my site to new links at createspace for my books & also my web domains. (PoetryMart & Poetry Book Shelf)
I have noticed today that many of my older links did not even work.
Hummmm.....perhaps I did that? No...not all of them. I usually always check the links to make sure they work properly.
Now what I did see as I was editing links in my "News Announcements" those links were allot of unreadable PC lingo.
Internet Gremlins...so I suppose one needs to check their links every now and a again...
Also an FYI!! If you have links in & links out you are broadening your internet exposure. When you post inside your AD (poems, articles, story section ect.) Place links there too. Just because they are on your bio doesn't mean a new person visiting you knows this.
Offering additional links on everything is good because a new person may not know their way to navigate Authors Den. People specifically knowing where you are do of course, but also
there are those new comers whom you only have one chance
to get them to click your link-they may not want to search you out. I hope that made sense...
