Well I did it! I finally decided to offer "A HISTORY OF LIFE - IN THE BEGINNING" to my fans here at Author's Den in a serial format. Check out the Prologue and First Chapter of this most unusual book at "story". I'll be posting additional chapters each month.
This book is special to me. Forgetting all I've ever learned about plotting, etc., I have allowed the story to simply come to me after meditating. Are the words mine? I don't know. Perhaps they are mine, coming from my subconscious rather than from my conscious mind. Or perhaps they have been given to me by some unseen power. I don't know, and I don't care. What I do care about is the story - or rather "stories." I hope my readers will care about them too.
Frankly, many of the concepts of this book go against traditional religions. I mean no disrespect to anyone's beliefs. Neither do I intend to change anyone's religious beliefs. I consider this book to be a way of expounding on the story of creation rather than changing it.
So,please read it with an open mind, always remembering that these books are completely fictional.
Read on, my friends! I hope you will enjoy the many tales this book and the ones that follow tell.
