Finished my Young Adult novel a half hour ago!!! 2/11/2012 11:46:31 AM
I did it.
I reached my first goal for the new year. I finished my young adult novel today! I'm psyched!
Okay sure it's only a second or third draft . . . but it never had an ending before today. I need to tweak it a little, but I think it's good to go after that. And it will lead into the next episode of Devynn's life. I think I'm going to call that one Marooned on Planet EARTH: Reunions. I had another sub title, but it escapes me now.
Anyway, it'll be about Devynn's aunt discovering that the daughter she was forced to give up as a teen, is looking for her, as her adoptive parents are now (and newly) deceased.
I've posted the first chapter here, go check it out and tell me what you think, if you have a mind to. I will be setting it up to debut in the Kindle book store within the month. I can't wait for that!
