The fun really starts . . . Now that I've finished Marooned except for the final tweaks, I need to start thinking of book covers. What do I want for that? I've been doing my own covers up to this point. But, for this one, I seem to be stumped. Not sure I can do it justice. So, I think I'll look around for someone to help me out with this one. I just hope it doesn't bleed me dry. I'm pretty much a starving writer . . .
I hope I can find someone who, if s/he doesn't read the book first will be open to at least getting a list of the physical traits of my main characters. Nothing bugs me more than to see a blonde kid on the cover and finding out as I read, that the heroine is dark haired. Or vice versa. Makes me nuts.
Am in contact with one artist now. Just need to find out what her rates are for a full color cover. I'm so anxious to get this book out!
