SPIRIT CONNECTIONS: A Blogger's Search and a Promise. Hello, dear reader -
We are always 'in process' as individuals, as a culture, as a civilization, as a species. We are influenced by the natural world within which we live, which includes the galaxy.
In 2012, I believe we find ourselves in the midst of enormous transition in almost all our institutions. As the old template of domination and repression struggles to preserve itself, a new template of cooperation and harmony is arising and gaining influence with the promise of renewal and a greater sense of interrelatedness. It is a chaotic, confusing time. And yet, it is filled with hope. I know we cannot turn away. We must stay present to all that is happening - especially to the increasing emergence of the sense of oneness.
My own spiritual journey continues to deepen and expand.I have written a book of poetry and photography based on my own experiences of the sacred in "Trembling at the Threshold - Encountering the Divine in Daily Life."
Of course, this personal journey is intensely introspective, but it also brings a deepening sense of awe and connection with our world. I have felt a growing need to be part of the positive dialogue about the incredible spiritual transition of our world soul. My blog is one way to do this.
So, I will offer you what I call 'spirit connections': links to websites that have informed me, or that called me to compassionate action, or that deepened my understanding of The Mystery that is life. I will tell you about books I'm reading or have read about all things 'spirit'. I'll share moments from the magic in everyday life that have surprised me, given me an insight or special joy.
This is my search, and my promise. I hope you will join me.
