I have been away for a while. Life got very dramatic and I had to bow out for a while. Many deaths of friends and family, political issues and very critical business details that had to be addressed required my constant focus and 100% PLUS of my efforts.
I am happy to report that all is well now. Thanks to those of you who have been so supportive. I just could never thank you enough.
I just completed part 5 of my CON series. It is the conclusion. A 5000 plus word short story. So those of you who read that series finally can have some closure. I know I feel good about it.
Coco moved out of my house and got a wonderful flat in Hyde Park. A very positive move for her but leaving me with empty nest. lol
Some of you know that Vladdy died old age. Very sad. I now have the beautiful Emma, who I found in a dumpster. She was 4 weeks old and someone had burned her. I will not go into details. It was very harsh. She has healed in every way and is now 14 months old. While Vladdy weighed 125 pounds- Emma weighs in at 9.5 pounds. But she definitely has 125 pounds of attitude.
Nothing could ever replace my Vladimir. But Emma is a very nice addition to our family and I cherish every second with her.
After Alex took his life, I stayed on my living room couch for a solid year. I just wanted to make myself available to anyone and everyone who might need me. That was just such a horrible and surreal . . . thing to happen.
I was called by a staffer who I had worked for in the past about 8 months ago and agreed to manage a gas plant expansion in North Dakota. It will be finished in March. But I have been asked to do 4 more, and I am thinking I will probably do it. Retirement just is not for me.
I am probably going to open a drive in movie theatre out on some of my property in Gonzales. They are making a comeback. Why not? Camping and movies on the big screen. JR is just an 8th of a mile off highway 532 in Gonzales county. Should be fun.
Jags is doing great. Saving the world one person at a time. We have been together for 7 years. Apparently most folks are not aware of that. Kick that nest of vipers. lol
I bought an electric scooter at Electric Wheels and a viking helmet from Bud K. That is how I get around. I gave the B'mer to Coco. I really do not want a car and I just rent one when I really need one.
I still have Pesky Pedro and Gypsy and Pepper. My nephews care for them. I go see them every other weekend. Try to ride at least once a month.
So that's kind of an overview of life for Blue at this time. Although I have been away I never stopped being available to AllExperts.com. I have concentrated my time to family issues. Now I am back. Never had a goal. Just sharing my stuff. ;)
