Why have we cut short the United States Postal System? Why do we support all the electronic transactions that have cost American jobs? You know there is nothing wrong about progress, and nothing wrong about making life better, but in the process some jobs have been lost. Consider the Postal Service and what has happened regarding jobs. The volume of mail has decreased and jobs have been lost.
Nowadays we have cyber theft galore. Target is one example. We have the so-called "life lock" offered to us, and yet there is still identity theft. Even the VA has been hacked. I received two letters some years back notifying me about personal information being jeopardized. We all know it is happening all the time.
There is no REAL security when it comes to cyberspace. One way to combat this is to not bank online. Another thing we can do is never use a debit card for gasoline purchases. But the bottom line is this: Pay your bills with a check and send it in via regular mail. Yes it will cost a stamp, but it will also create jobs. We have gone too fast when it comes to convenience. Of course we can use our credit card for purchases online, but let's be reasonable. Too many jobs have gone away because of the excessive use of electronics these days. Have we become a bunch of cyber bubble heads?
Let me reiterate my main point here. If we start using the postal system again, we can create jobs and not have to rely on congress or anyone else to create jobs so much.
