If you're an unknown author like myself, the best way to sell your books is not to sell them. How's that? To sell books one must first sell him or herself. We must have a target audience of course. No matter what your genre might be, to offer speaking engagements is one way to increase your book sales. If you give folks what they are looking for, they will most likely buy your book at the end of your presentation, even with a higher profit margin compared to book stores. This way you also become a little more known as an author.
