Big tuition and substandard teachers don't mix! Kenneth Story a Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology was fired for exercising his free speech. Some say he deserved it and others feel like me about the United States Constitution.
While the right and left argue I see another injustice not mentioned in the news media's coverage.
The University of Tampa is a very expensive private college so why do they rely on part time faculty in the first place? Story, who finished a graduate degree but not a PhD, couldn't get a tenure track position in the vast majority of universities in America. Are private colleges trying to skimp on students education while raking in big bucks? It sure doesn't look good!
