My Unicorn 2 11/22/2017 3:40:00 AM
Born to love in a hate filled world. There are days when sadness overwhelms me, and I wake up in tears. It happens, maybe once a year.
Those days, I want to walk away, leave the world to their hate and games, never look back.
My unicorn awaits, that place of happiness where everyone works together for the greater good of bringing a sense of euphoria to others, instead of constantly attacking, plotting, jabbing for the sake of power.
The place where children find joy and grow and learn to love. Where adults love their children and each other with the love we're meant to share.
My unicorn awaits--and each day that I fight a fight that doesn't matter, each day that I give my energy to guide resisted change, each day that I feel the hate filled steam permeating my pores--my unicorn starves, dims, withers.
I used to be annoyed by constantly happy people. Then I learned where to find happiness and joy. Now I'm one of those annoyingly happy people who want others to be happy, who's hated because I've found my happiness.
People continue to hate everything... especially me. They hate me because I don't respond like them. They hate because I'm different. They hate because I'm forgiving. They don't understand, so they hate. Hate kills.
I must spread only love. I must not let the hatred ruin me, my decisions, my feelings. If I do, my unicorn will die, and so will I.
