CUTTING ESSENTIAL FUNDS

Cutting funds for coronavirus research.

On Sunday, May 10, 2020, “60 Minutes” featured an American virologist researcher, Peter Daszak. He worked with the Wuhan Laboratory in China. Two weeks ago, his funding was cut. Purportedly this happened after Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz from the Panhandle of Florida complained about money going to Wuhan, China while on Tucker Carlson, a Fox Channel show.

Was it a coincidence that funding was cut after Congressman Gaetz’s complaint? Did anyone find out why the scientists were in the Wuhan Laboratory in China? Since the President is an avid fan and a regular guest on Fox Channel, did he hear Congressman’s Gaetz’s concern. Since all the other news stations report fake news how is Fox news different?

This is the second virologist who has been sidelined that could have helped with research and production of a vaccine to help with this coronavirus pandemic. Why is this happening? Are we as a nation not concerned about human life? We have now loss greater than 81,000 persons in America.
