Last week I finished the first draft of A Storm in My Heart. Yep. 1264 pages of it. I'll start the first pass of edits and rewrites after I've finished the edits I'm doing for His Practically Perfect Plan B, and Resurrecting His Love. I'm waiting for my new covers to be finished over at 100covers. New representations of the characters and settings. And then they'll be available in paperback sometime this month or next. I'm hoping that I can have Stormi's story ready by March. But we'll see.

I don't plan to cut hundreds of pages from this story. It will get trimmed, I'm sure, but pretty likely not down to the 828 pages KDP's limit is. So, I'll release it in two volumes. 

I have some ideas of where the next story will go. And it'll likely be a long one as well, although not, I think, as long as Stormi's. Plan B is 564ish pages and Resurrecting His Love is under 300. Unless my present edits push that up a bit. I'm editing it to fit what happened in Stormi's story as the two stories overlap, and what happened in Joleigh's story directly affects what happens in Stormi's. So they have to sync. The actual wordage might be different in some cases, but the events will be the same.

As Stormi's story unfolded, and I looked back at Plan B to be sure the facts stayed the same - or were changed in both stories - I began to see how I could craft Book 4. And there are hints of things to come in both books. Which was a little tricky to do without giving spoilers to the next book. I hope I didn't give too much away.

Hopefully, just enough to pique reader interest. 

I'm hoping to finish Joleigh's edits this weekend and order her cover. Getting a cover for Storm, I think, is going to be a not so fun thing. I know the cover isn't supposed to tell the whole story, but finding images of Geoffrey and Storm isn't going to be easy. But we'll see. I might stumble on some good ones. Can't leave it up to the diesigners totally. They haven't hit it right yet!
