In early December of 2014, I took a writing challenge from the online version of  'Writer's Digest', the top magazine for writers, in my opinion.

The challenge was to write a letter to a Book Agent telling her/him how good I am.

Taking the challenge, I wrote to an agent I found in a recent issue of 'Writer's Digest because the agent had some of the same reading interests that I have.

I sent the letter off after several revisions. I attached samples of my writing; this included an excerpt from my first book, three poems from my second book, and a blog.

To my surprise, the agent at Janklow and Nesbit responded! She responded and told me, among other positive things, to Keep Writing!

No matter how many times I read the letter,and I have stopped counting, I still get giddy each time I read it!

Her response made it one of the best holiday seasons I have ever had as an author.
