Epiphanies and Pivots

Epiphanies and Pivots: What they are- why they must work together.

Most of us have an understanding of the meaning of an epiphany and a pivot, but just in case their meanings are a bit vague to you now, let me explain the two.

An epiphany occurs when we suddenly realize the truth about a particular circumstance. For example, we might have an epiphany about a particular class we are taking, and it "suddenly dawns" on us that we are failing the class or will fail it if we continue in the direction we are going.

It is at this moment of truth that we pivot or should pivot; we do this by "making a mental shift or turn" in our thinking and begin to think of what we need to do to pivot so that we can successfully finish the course.

These two words and the action they require should be upper most in our minds when we are working toward some desired goal or project.

Both the epiphany, which comes first, and the pivot which should follow, are vital parts of any successful plan we create for future success, and when they are implemented consistently, they will help us to avoid unnecessary gaps in our goals.

What to do Next?

*Have a current epiphany?

*Start with it;

*Identify it clearly;

*Think of the action, the pivot, you can take to solve it;

*Do so as quickly as possible;

*Grow and shine in the light of God's love.
