What makes audio so powerful is the voice behind the artist. In a 24-minute radio interview, Joyce White talks about Art Therapy and her journey of the past ten years.

Joyce White, artist, poet, and writer integrates these three things; clay photography and writing.  What impresses me most about the interview is that Joyce mentions childhood from where it all starts. She is very big on intuition.

Joyce says that she tapped into a well of knowledge that laid dormant for years. She says she found she had a voice and wanted to be heard. She began writing to heal herself, and then realized she could heal others.

She explains how clay snowballed into poetry and poetry snowballed into journaling and that snowballed into books.

Through sculpting Joyce has learned how to feel self-worth and self-confidence. Joyce suffers from depression, as has all of her family.
