Environmental education organization, Walden West Outdoor Science School, retains two copies of Sir Licksalot & The Arctic Fools on site for future campers to enjoy while learning about global warming. The most recent participants attending Walden West from Cumberland and San Miguel elementary schools, were read a few chapters every night by their camp counselor, my son. The camper pictured asked every day for a copy of the book. Not only did he receive an autographed copy to take home, but so did the entire group of 5th grade boys in his cabin.
