This is the first since 1776 that African Americans have had a chance to elect an African American as President of the United States. Wake up African Americans!!!!!! It has been noted through-out history, that we as a people have relied on European Americans to represent, and to speak for us. The time has come and past for our voices to be heard. The time is now! We have for the first time in history, an opportunity to have a legitimate African American not only to represent and speak for us as a people, but to represent and speak for this nation. It is incumbent that we, as African Americans, take a stance against not just our own personal sovereignty, but the sovereignty of this country, of our future, and of our children. European Americans have come together in masses to support our movement. It would be ashame if we do not get on board ourselves and back Barack Obama for President of the United States. The democratic party has always been the main political party of the African Americans: now we have a chance to have an African American to not only represent our people, but represent the democratic party, and this nation. The founding fathers established a democratic system not a monarch system; this country has had enough of the Bushes and the Clintons! Let's wake up get on board and elect Barack Obama, President of the United States.
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
