Hi everyone,
I hope you enjoyed October. It was a warm month here in Cali. The month went by so quickly I wasn't even able to put up a poem about Halloween. I really have to write more poems.  I have been concentrating on short stories and flash fiction and the poem file is getting thin. We continue to mask and stay safe here. We got our booster shots and should be pretty well covered now. We are getting outdoors and walking more too. It's nice to get fresh air and sunshine again. My vitamin D level is really low after all this staying indoors. I hope you are staying well and Covid free. It's mid November and Thanksgiving is approaching fast. We had plans to drive to Texas but will stay here for the holiday.  I can't believe how this whole month of November has Black Fridays. Will we know the real black Friday when it arrives? Will there be any more toys, clothes and perfume left? This whole pandemic has left us all questioning lots of things. I hope you are staying hopeful and encouraging friends and family to do so also. Have fun preparing for Turkey Day as we used to call it.  I am so ready to have a large, calorie packed meal.  I just finished my Thanksgiving cards and am dreaming of turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, Jello salad, Cranberries, . ..mmmmm.
