Illusive Love

This aching soul waiting for
Illusive love
Drowning in despair
Ever wonder when, where
Will love appear?
Through the motions of
Searching deep within
My battered being
To find the key
The reason for this
Illusive love
Black as the night
No glimpse of
Love, the future
Seems to hold no
Arms to surround
Me with warmth
So tender, so true
This ever
Illusive love
