From the bowels of earth I entered, crying.
From the warmth of the sea to my mother's face.
The lines so fine between living and dying.
Thrust into another time... Another place.

Scabbed over knees and a jar full of bees...
A bike to explore... a trail to race.
Cashing in bottles of pop if you please.
Silver cents buy another time... another place.

A change of voice and agony deep.
My pounding blood set the pace.
Whispers and wind a fragrance to keep.
She sends me to another time... another place.

I ride the thunder and I pay the bills.
The distance from day one to space.
The date and the dance. Unimagined thrills.
Together at last in another time... another place.

Growing old hand in hand and more lives of our own.
The creator calls us to chase...
and pursue the truth so easily shown.
Taking us home... to another time... another place.
