What can a mother do when their young teens are making wrong choices for their lives?I protected her from abuse for years..letting go now, I don't know how.

Poem Artwork

I call for you
Can't hear your reply
Are you there
Are you with me still

I miss you
Your smile, your sarcasm
Your hugs the most
You are wrong...we were close

I birthed you, and loved you
I protected you, As best I could
Under the darkness that
clouded our lives, I tried to give light

Is this it
A mother's broken heart
I cry, I wait for the
call that's not coming

My Angel, precious in every way
Mistakes are made
Repairs are possible
I showed you the path to guide your way

Choices made can be choices undone
I am here, waiting with open arms
Ready to embrace and welcome you back
Into your mothers steady heart

My lost little Angel girl
That is your mother's wish

 Reviews of "A Mother's Wish"
Reviewed by Kathy Armijo
Reviewed on December 2, 2007
The most difficult decision that a Mom can make is to let her child learn [good and bad] to stand on their own two feet. Sometimes it just breaks a Mom's heart. I pray that whatever has caused this separation will soon be overcome. It is the Christmas season, perhaps, she will see His light and know the love you have.

God bless you. Kathy
