A bar like hallway,
Ernie would've never stood a chance,
May's exhale billows to the light of the door,
Takes a last dance with a neon sign.
Its dark in there,
The day light dies three stools away from her,
May's apron catches whiskey teardrops,
Her men catch hell.
Her name tag says May,
They all know her,
Blurred features, dull sentences,
Lip stained short glass, rocks and Rhys,
Welsh, wild, bastard brothers,
She ran through them all!
Mays got nothing more to drthink,
Koufaxed that glass at her back bar portrait,
Tore her name off,
Gracefully waltzed to the day,
Stoic, crazy Amanda may.
