Do you hear it?

Do you hear it like I do?

Do you hear what they say?

Maybe what they sing or write?

Have you seen the images they paint?

Do you hear their pleas for help?

For love and salvation?

Do you read the words that bare their souls?

Have you seen the images they are forced to see?
Do you hear it?

I do.

Within every song, within every written word,

Inside every image lies a spirit in waiting.

Whether they see it or not, whether they believe or not,

They are calling your name.

Listen and you’ll hear it.

In this poem you cause the reader to stop and consider the daily grind. Is there something more to what we face each day? I imagine most of us want to believe so.

I am so impressed with your writings Mary. Yes I do hear them, I do see them, and I see the images they paint with every song and poem, short story and novel. Sometimes the images are abstarct, and sometimes they are very vivid. Thnx for sharing dear. May the Lord Jesus bless you, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister in the written word, Barbie
