Where it really counts...

Beyond time, fixed within a place in the heart,

There lies the part of one that cannot be found.

Not by mortal eyes can it be detected,

For it is more than what humans understand.

Within this realm there is a reality,

A place where lives are created and destroyed

Without consequence beyond their own self loathing.

A love found or lost in circular motion

As life only wishes it could accomplish.

Corporeal form desires to enter

But the bounds keep it out of physical reach.

Memory returns one to its open gate

And beckons them to come in and join the fun.

A journey that produces nothing higher

Than ones own sense of the reality within.

Beyond time and ones dreamy slumber, it lies

Awaiting the entrance of the soul it seeks.

They say we create our own reality I just have a hard time with that concept until i remember that we are here for lessons and that all to often we do not listen to the inner voice (our higher self) and that is when we get lost
Yes I can say a lot of what this poem stirred in me
But for now i will just say Brava
