This poem was written for someone special after the death of her husband.
I am here to listen... I do not know the pain you feel, or if it will ever ease. So I am here to listen to you any time you please. I can not know the burden of being all alone. So I am here to listen any time you phone. I do not know how empty you are bound to feel. So I am here to listen and try to help you heal. I do not wish this anguish to linger in your heart. So I am here to listen so your feelings don't turn tart. I do not want you're smile to fade because you are so sad. So I am here to listen when you struggle being mad. I do not want your thoughts to linger on things you should have done. And in the end your time together ...means you've really won. ��
