Let me not be judged

By what I spent

Or what I earned,

But rather judge me by

What I taught

And what I learned;

By the stars

I reached for

And the joy

I spread;

By the bigness

Of my heart

Not the swelling

Of my head.

Let me not be judged

By my words,

But by my deeds;

By my showing

Love for others

By filling

Their needs.

Let me be known

For my Spirit’s generosity  

And my soul’s gentleness,

And let

My love for others

Be my life’s

True test

For when all

Is said

And all

Deeds are done

On my

Character alone

Will paradise

Be lost

Or won.
